Is ordering a light up marquee balloon installation from Balloon Artisan expensive?

The short answer: We’re not the cheapest option.

Most balloon decorators and marquee vendors are solo operators doing a few jobs a month and they specialize in birthdays and baby showers. There’s nothing wrong with that at all, it’s just a different model.

We chose to build something else:

• A full‑time team that specializes in corporate events and grand openings.
‍• 1:1 design support, fast communication, and proactive updates so you don’t have to chase us.
• Professional install crews who show up early, handle venue requirements, and don’t leave until it looks right.
• That level of reliability and service costs more than a part‑time decorator, and our pricing reflects that.

If you’re simply looking for the lowest price on “some balloons,” we’re probably not the right fit.

How do I order my light up marquee balloon display for my corporate event?

We pair you with a 1:1 design strategist who looks at your space, listens to what you’re trying to accomplish, and recommends grand opening designs (arches, garlands, columns, backdrops) that fit your brand and budget.

Step 3: Approve the plan and relax
We send a clear proposal. Once you approve it, your job is basically done.

Can I get my Company's Logo on my light up marquee letter balloon installation?

Yes. We do logo‑integrated designs all the time. We can print your logo on balloons, column toppers, and backdrops so your brand is front and center in every photo

Do you work with my venue on requirements (permits, compliance, COI, etc.)?

Yes, our goal is to take as much work off of your plate as possible. We’re used to working with venues, unions, landlords, fire marshals and all of the other parties that enjoying complicating your life as an event coordinator... haha...

We can also provide COIs/W‑9s and work within venue guidelines.

What are the power requirements for a light up marquee rental display?

Our marquee displays are powered by low-wattage bulbs. Even large installations draw under 3 amps and can run on a standard 120V, 15A household outlet.

Venue Requirements:
• One (1) grounded 120V outlet within 25 feet of the installation area
• A circuit free from high-draw equipment (space heaters, industrial warmers, inflatables, etc.)
• If power is not available, we can provide alternative solutions upon request

This ensures your light up marquee balloon installation shines bright and stays safe for the duration of the event. If your venue has special power rules, we can coordinate with their team directly so you don't have to add another to-do item to your plate.

Will the balloons in my light up marquee balloon display have helium in them?

None of our balloon arches or garlands have helium in them. Your balloon arch and balloon garland for your light up marquee letters will always be delivered on a freestanding, supporting framework.

We are not fans of using helium in balloons and we try to help our clients not be as well. Helium is a limited and depleting resource that is in short supply right now. Many venues won't allow helium balloons plus it's expensive, terrible for the environment and there are much better uses for helium than inflating party balloons (like using it for life-saving medical procedures).

Is my light up marquee balloon installation environmentally friendly?

The vast majority of our balloons are 100% latex. Latex is created using the bark of the rubber tree, is 100% biodegradable and decomposes at the same rate as an oak leaf. The carbon footprint of balloons is also lower than just about any other decor element out there (air is pretty easy to come across and uninflated balloons take up almost no space). The carbon footprint of flowers for example is significantly higher than the carbon footprint for balloons.

We also make sure that we pick up every last balloon scrap when we clean up your balloon arch.
